My name is Pop and I came as a stray from a northern community with my sisters, Snap and Crackle. We are the Rice Krispies!!
We were lucky to come into care when we did, because we all had the dreaded parvovirus when we got here. Also luckily, our symptoms were not severe and our foster parents noticed something was wrong and took us to the vet right away. So now we are all Parvo survivors, and are not just surviving, but thriving!
In terms of personality, I am a bit more on the shy side, I like to sit on a lap and watch while my sisters do, whatever it is they do.. wrestling and the like. I’m a bit calmer and more cautious than they are. I’m also the only boy and my eyes are two different colours, which some people think is pretty neat. Some activities that I enjoy are; chewing almost anything, playing tug, chasing balls, you know, the usual puppy stuff. I also love people and food, but I do NOT love all this cold weather.
My siblings and I were also very lucky to end up in an extremely experienced foster home, they have fostered approximately 1 million puppies ( that’s a rough approximation but I think it’s close). They are setting us up to succeed in the future, whether we stay in cereal marketing or choose a different path. So we have been working on potty training and other life skills and are catching on quickly.
